Three more people died of dengue across the country in the last 24 hours, This finalizes total death toll from the mosquito-borne disease to 37 since March 15.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) provided the update in a press release issued on Monday.

According to the press release, three deaths were reported in Barishal, Khulna, and Dhaka North City Corporation areas, with one casualty in each region, in the 24 hours ending at 8:00AM on Monday.

During this period, 372 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals, bringing the total number of hospitalised dengue cases this year to 10,857.

Meanwhile, 346 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,786 so far this year.
