The latest rankings assessed 1,504 universities worldwide using nine performance indicators, each scored out of 100. Dhaka University achieved an overall score of 28.3.

In the International Research Network indicator, which measures global research collaboration, the university scored 61.1, while it received 60.6 in Sustainability, highlighting its progress in addressing environmental and social responsibility goals.

DU's Academic Reputation score stood at 28.3, reflecting its longstanding contribution to higher education and research in Bangladesh.

But, several indicators pointed to areas requiring improvement. The university scored 8.0 in both Citations per Faculty and Faculty-Student Ratio, suggesting room for growth in research impact and teaching resources. Its International Faculty Ratio and International Student Ratio were comparatively low at 2.0 and 1.4 respectively, underscoring the need to attract more international academics and students to enhance its global standing.
