Bangladesh will introduce uniform question papers across all board examinations nationwide in a major move to standardise assessments and reduce inter-board disparities, education minister said on Thursday.
While speaking at a briefing at the Secretariat, ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon added that admission tests for Class I would be “nominal” going forward. On admission policy, there will no longer be a centralised system for Class I admissions, he added.
“This year’s board examinations will be conducted with uniform question papers across the country, as part of efforts to ensure standardisation and reduce inter-board disparities,” Melon said.
The minister said preparations have been completed for holding the HSC and equivalent examinations, scheduled to begin on July 2.
