Night-time temperatures in Dhaka and adjoining areas may fall slightly, while mainly dry weather is expected over the next six hours, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department said on Sunday.
According to a forecast issued by the department's Storm Warning Centre at 7:00 PM, the sky may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy, with south or south-easterly winds blowing at 10-15 kmph.
At 6:00 PM, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius, with humidity at 70 per cent.
The capital recorded a maximum temperature of 34.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26.9 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
