Nazmul Alam appointed new ACC director general

Mohammad Nazmul Alam, a joint secretary and divisional head at the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), has been appointed as the new director general (DG) of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The information was disclosed in a notification issued by the Deputation-1 branch of the Ministry of Public Administration on Sunday (August 30).

The notification, issued by order of the President, was signed by Deputy Director Mohammad Nur-e-Alam.

According to the notification, Nazmul Alam, an officer holding the rank of joint secretary, has been transferred and appointed to the post of director general at the ACC on deputation.

The order, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
