Navana Group vice chairman Sajedul Islam arrested

Police have arrested Navana Group Vice Chairman Sajedul Islam Shuvro from his residence in Dhaka's Banani area.

Tejgaon Industrial area Police Station OC Mahbubur Rahman said there was an arrest warrant against Sazedul Islam in a labour court case.

He was arrested around 7AM on Wednesday based on the warrant, the OC added.

Mahbubur Rahman said Sazedul Islam was taken to the police station and later sent to a court.
