Chairman candidate of forthcoming Bangladesh Fertilizer Association (BFA) election and Bogura-7 MP Morshed Milton has demanded suspension of the association's election by July 11, alleging that the polls are being conducted in a "one-sided" manner.

He also called for the BFA to be run by an ad hoc committee until the remaining district committees are formed. Milton, who currently serves as president of BFA-Bogura District, made the demand while speaking at a discussion meeting at Gulshan Club in the capital on Sunday.

Milton alleged  the election process has been "pre-arranged," claiming that only one group is allowed to collect nomination papers. Individuals who had benefited during the Awami League government are getting favoured to secure victory.
