PORSHA, NAOGAON, July 4: The distribution of summer agricultural incentives among marginal farmers under the 2025-2026 fiscal year incentive has been inaugurated in Porsha Upazila of the district.
Organised by the Upazila Agriculture Office, it was inaugurated by Naogaon-1 Constituency MP Md Mostafizur Rahman as the chief guest at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Thursday.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rakibul Islam chaired the function and Agriculture Officer Mamunur Rashid delivered the welcome speech.
At the end of the inauguration, free seedlings, seeds, chemical fertilisers and agricultural equipment were distributed among 2,500 farmers from different unions of the upazila.
At that time, Project Implementation Officer Mahmudul Haque Titu, Upazila BNP General Secretary Sadequl Islam, Police OC Ziaur Rahman, Sub-Assistant Plant Conservation Officer Abdur Rahman, Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officers Shah Niamat Ullah, Afzal Hossain, Samiul Islam, Akmal Hossain and others were present.
