The government has prohibited the use of the Prime Minister's photograph on banners, festoons and billboards prepared for any official event.
It has also instructed all government agencies to prioritize the event's theme, objectives and key messages when designing promotional materials, ensuring they are presented clearly and effectively.
The directive was issued in a circular by the Cabinet Division on Sunday.
According to the circular, the use of the Prime Minister's photograph on banners, festoons, or billboards prepared for any government event is completely prohibited, whether in 3D format or any other form of representation.
The directive further states that banners, festoons, and billboards for government programmes must prioritize the theme of the event and present only relevant and appropriate information. Their design should clearly reflect the purpose, message, and subject matter of the programme.
The circular says the directive is of significant importance and will take effect immediately.
