The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has granted no-objection certificates (NOCs) to three national cricketers, allowing them to take part in overseas franchise and county competitions during the upcoming international window.
Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been cleared to play the entire season of England's 100-ball competition, The Hundred, after being drafted by Birmingham Phoenix. According to a BCB official, Mustafizur's NOC will remain valid from July 20 to August 20, enabling him to participate throughout the tournament.
Mustafizur is the first Bangladeshi cricketer to be picked in 'The Hundred draft'. With Bangladesh not scheduled to play any white-ball international matches during the period, the BCB found no conflict in releasing him for the tournament.
Young opener Parvez Hossain Emon has also received an NOC to represent Lahore Qalandars in the Global Super League. Emon, who was previously signed by the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, is expected to join the side after completing Bangladesh's T20I series against Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, fast bowler Hasan Mahmud has been granted permission to play for Kent Spitfires in England's Vitality Blast. He is set to feature in the county side's final three group-stage matches.
Hasan earlier impressed Kent in the County Championship, claiming 12 wickets in two matches, including career-best figures of 6-69 against Lancashire.
Earlier, the BCB had issued NOCs to ODI captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz, T20I captain Litton Das, pacer Taskin Ahmed to participate in the Lanka Premier League (LPL). "BSS
