Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the conflict with Iran is not over, warning that Israel remains prepared for further military action if necessary.
Speaking at an Israeli Air Force graduation ceremony at Hatzerim Air Base, Netanyahu said new challenges lie ahead despite the current pause in hostilities.
"The war is not over yet. There are new challenges ahead," he said, adding that maintaining Israel's air superiority remains a cornerstone of the country's national security strategy, according to Israeli media reports.
Israeli military chief Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir also said the campaign against Iran had not ended, indicating that operational plans for possible future action were in place.
Defence Minister Israel Katz echoed the warning, saying the Israeli military was prepared to strike Iran again if required to counter any renewed threat.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions following the collapse of a US-Iran memorandum of understanding that had sought to halt hostilities and pave the way for broader negotiations. Recent exchanges between Iran and the United States have raised concerns over the risk of renewed regional escalation.
