The Gaza Ministry of Health said that within the last 24 hours, up to Thursday (July 9), at least eight people were killed and 17 injured in Israeli attacks. It added that many victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, while rescue and civil defence teams are unable to reach several affected areas.

‎Medical sources reported that two more Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a house west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

‎In a separate attack, an Israeli strike targeting a civilian vehicle in the Al-Rimal neighbourhood of Gaza City killed one person and wounded three others. Another drone strike on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza claimed the life of one Palestinian and left several others injured.

‎According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, Israeli attacks carried out in violation of the ceasefire have killed 1,092 Palestinians and injured 3,507 others as of July 9.

‎The ministry also stated that since the war began on October 8, 2023, the overall death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,118, with 173,615 people injured. It further claimed that nearly 90 percent of Gaza's civilian infrastructure has been destroyed or damaged during the conflict.
