China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Bangladesh Limited has distributed emergency relief among 760 flood-affected families in Chattogram and Cox's Bazar as part of its humanitarian support initiative.
The relief operation covered Satkania and Banshkhali upazilas in Chattogram, and Chokoria and Pekua upazilas in Cox's Bazar, where recent floods and landslides caused widespread damage.
Each family received essential food and emergency supplies, including rice, lentils, edible oil, salt, sugar, biscuits, drinking water, oral saline, candles and matches. Despite flooded roads, CCECC used trucks and boats to deliver aid to remote communities.
CCECC South Asia General Manager Xu Yunxiang said the company remains committed to supporting local communities alongside developing infrastructure, adding that the initiative reflects the strong friendship between China and Bangladesh.
The company also thanked local authorities, volunteers and project teams for their support in successfully carrying out the relief mission.
