Iran attacks Kuwait and Bahrain, sirens sound

Iran has launched another attack in the Middle East. Sirens have been sounded in Kuwait and Bahrain after the country's attack. Air defense systems in both countries have been activated to control the situation. This information was reported in a report by Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera on Wednesday (July 15).

Kuwait's military said it had taken necessary steps to respond to Iran's missile and drone attacks. The country called on the public to follow the authorities' safety and security instructions.

Meanwhile, Bahrain's Interior Ministry has asked people to remain calm and seek shelter in the nearest safe place.

Earlier, shortly before the Iranian attack, the United States targeted the Iranian islands of Kish and Qeshm. Al Jazeera reported this information at around 9:45 pm on Tuesday Bangladesh time, citing Iranian media.

The US military has repeatedly attacked the two islands over the past three days, including today. However, Iran did not immediately report any damage in the new attack.

Qeshm Island is very important for Iran. It is the largest of the Iranian islands in the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran can maintain its control over the Strait of Hormuz by using this island. It is believed that there is a large amount of weapons and missiles stored there. That is why the United States is repeatedly attacking it.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened retaliation that is "much stronger and harsher than any previous conflict" if Iran attacks, warning Tehran not to attack Israel.

"The days are over when someone would hit us and we wouldn't hit back with double the force," Netanyahu said during a conference in the southern Negev desert city of Dimona.

The war began in late February this year with a US and Israeli attack on Iran, but renewed tensions have flared up in the past week. However, this time, there have been no direct attacks between Israel and Iran.

Tehran has targeted US military bases in the Persian Gulf in retaliation for the US attack. In response to the new US attacks, the Iranian military is targeting US military bases and installations in various countries in the Middle East.
