BNP to hold nationwide special prayers marking Khaleda Zia’s birthday

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a nationwide dua and milad mahfils to mark the 82nd birthday of its former chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
The programme will be held on Saturday, (August 15) according to a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Adv Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Friday.
As part of the observance, BNP leaders and activists will organise milad and doa mahfils at party offices and mosques across the country, including in Dhaka.
A milad and doa mahfil will be held at the BNP central office at Nayapaltan in the capital at 11AM on Saturday. Senior leaders of the party are expected to attend the programme.
The BNP has urged leaders, activists and supporters at all levels of the party and its affiliated and associate organisations to participate in the prayers across the country.
