MTB approves 12pc stock dividend

The 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) was held virtually through a digital platform on Thursday.  

Md Abdul Malek, Director of the MTB Board, presided over the meeting.The shareholders approved a 12 per cent Stock Dividend for the year ended December 31, 2025, says a press release.

Moreover, among other Directors, Khwaja Nargis Hossain and  Daniel De Lange (representing Norfund); Independent Directors, Dr Mohammad Tareque, Chairman of the Board Audit Committee,  Shib Narayan  Kairy, and  Zareen Mahmud Hosein; Managing Director and CEO, Syed Mahbubur Rahman; DMD and Company Secretary, Rais Uddin Ahmad; senior management officials of the Bank and a large number of shareholders attended the AGM.
