Vance links Epstein to CIA, Mossad

Jeffrey Epstein was deeply connected with high-level US intelligence and the Israeli secret state, US Vice President JD Vance claimed. Al Jazeera reported this on Thursday (July 16).

Vance made these remarks in a three-hour long interview with podcaster Joe Rogan on Wednesday. Rogan noted that most people believe Epstein worked for Mossad. Vance openly agreed with the view.

‘Yes, Mossad or CIA, or some other deep state. Be it America, Israel, or another nation,’ Vance stated. He added that Epstein had clear contacts with top US intelligence and direct links to the highest echelons of Israeli spying operations.

The US Vice President also claimed the sex offender was particularly tied to center-left deep state elements in Israel. However, in the US, Epstein’s friendships crossed all political boundaries.

Despite these serious claims, Vance clarified that there is no official documentary evidence linking Epstein directly to US or foreign intelligence. He noted that such sensitive records are unlikely to exist today in 2026.

Earlier in January this year, the US Justice Department released about 3.5 million secret files on Epstein. The documents did not explicitly prove he was a spy. However, a 2020 FBI memo cited a source claiming the late criminal was a trained Mossad agent.

The files revealed Epstein frequently emailed top Israeli figures. These included former Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak and veteran Mossad official Yoni Koren. Epstein even funded Koren’s cancer treatment in 2012. He also donated heavily to the Israeli military and various state agencies.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted to these links on social media last February. ‘Jeffrey Epstein's unusual closeness with Ehud Barak does not prove he worked for Israel. It proves the exact opposite,’ Netanyahu wrote.
