Public Administration Adviser Md Ismail Zabiullah has called on government officials to uphold integrity, professional competence, innovation and accountability in delivering public services.
He made the remarks while addressing the closing ceremony of the 7th Development Administration Training Course and the 4th Project Management Preparation (PMP) Training Course at the National Academy for Development Administration (NADA) on Wednesday.
The adviser distributed certificates among 22 participants of the Development Administration Training Course and 26 participants of the PMP training programme.
He stressed the need to ensure the efficient and transparent use of public funds in implementing development projects and urged officials to apply the knowledge and skills gained through training to strengthen project management, professionalism and public service delivery.
He also said trained officers have a vital role to play in building an efficient, transparent and people-oriented public administration.
The programme was chaired by Dr Md Kamruzzaman, NDC, PMP, Rector of the National Academy for Development Administration and Secretary to the Government.
