Bangladesh have secured a direct place in the quarter-finals of the men's cricket event at the 2026 Asian Games based on the ICC rankings.
Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will begin their campaigns from the quarter-finals, while Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal and Oman will compete in the opening round for the remaining four places.
The Asian Games organisers announced the men's and women's cricket draws on Thursday.
In the women's competition, Bangladesh will face hosts China in the quarter-finals. India will take on Japan, Sri Lanka will meet Malaysia and Pakistan will play Thailand.
The women's tournament will be held from September 17 to 22, while the men's competition is scheduled from September 24 to October 1.
All matches will be played in the T20 format in Nagoya, Japan.
