An Elegy for The Great Leader Khamenei

The minarets are veiled in grief tonight,
And silent stars are unseen in the sky;
A sea of tears has dimmed the middle sky- light,
As countless mourners lift their hearts and cry with black hue.

The voice that echoed through tempestuous years,
That called for steadfast faith in troubled days,
Now lingers only in the people's prayers,
A memory clothed in reverence and praise.

He walked a path of burden, strife, and flame,
Through war and storm, through trial and debate;
To loyal hearts he stood a guiding name,
A sentinel before the doors of fate.

The gardens' flowers  bow their heads,
The desert wind repeats a solemn tune;
The moonlight falls upon the honored dead,
And sorrow shadows every dawn and noon.

Yet death cannot erase a life once given
To ideals cherished by devoted men;
For every dream entrusted unto heaven
Returns in whispered hopes of earth again.
Sleep now beneath the sacred soil you loved more than your life,
Where generations gather, pray, and weep;
The stars above shall guard your memory true,
And watch beside your eternal  sleep.

Farewell, O leader, journey into peace;
May mercy crown the road your spirit trod.
Though mortal voices fade and heartbeats cease,
The final judgment rests with Allah, the Almighty.
