Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board, which were postponed because of floods and bad weather, resumed on Monday (July 27).
Exams also continued across the country's other general, madrasa and technical education boards as scheduled.
According to the examination routine, morning exams for Civics and Good Governance (First Paper), Biology (Theory, First Paper), and Business Organisation and Management (First Paper) began at 10AM under the nine general education boards, said Prof Parvez Sazzad, Controller of Examinations of the Chattogram Education Board.
He said the Food and Nutrition (First Paper) examination is scheduled for the afternoon session.
The Madrasa Education Board held Islamic History, Physics Second Paper, and Tajweed Second Paper for Alim candidates. The Technical Education Board conducted the Human Resource Management-1 examination for HSC BMT students.
The Chattogram Education Board suspended all remaining HSC examinations for 2026 on July 16 until further notice due to the post-flood situation.
