BPC Chairman Rezanur Rahman made OSD

Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) Chairman Md Rezanur Rahman, an additional secretary, has been made a Special Officer on Duty (OSD).

The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification on Sunday night, signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Md Tanvir Hasan Ruman, attaching him to the ministry as an OSD.

The notification did not mention any reason for the transfer.

According to ministry sources, Rezanur Rahman was appointed BPC chairman on February 2 after serving as chairman of Petrobangla. He formally assumed charge of the post on February 5.

His predecessor, Amin Ul Ahsan, was also made an OSD by the Public Administration Ministry before his replacement.
