Tahsin finishes 4th place

FIDE Master (FM) Tahsin Tajwar Zia of Bangladesh finished fourth position in the Rudar XXXIV Grandmaster (GM) Round-Robin Chess Tournament held in Serbia.

FM Tahsin earned 5.5 points out of nine games and tied for third place, he became fourth in the tie-breaking system.

In the ninth or last round games were held on Thursday last, FM Tahsin defeated GM Mikhail Bryakin of Serbia.
Earlier, in the eighth or penultimate round, FM Tahsin defeated FIDE Master Artem Postnikov of Serbia. IM Sathvik Adiga of India became champion with 6.5 points.

 A total of 10 players including three grandmasters, two International Masters and five FIDE Masters from Bangladesh, Belgium, Bulgaria, India, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine participated in the event which was held in a round-robin league system.     �"BSS
