Four nabbed in Khulna over Ctg theft case

KHULNA, July 31: A joint team of RAB-6, Khulna and RAB-7, Chattogram arrested four suspected members of an organised theft syndicate and recovered a stolen excavator in a raid in Khulna, said a RAB-6 press release on Thursday.

According to RAB, the drive was conducted around 3:50 am on Thursday in the Bakultala Mor area under Arongghata Police Station (PS) following a tip-off.

The arrestees are Md Iqbal Hossain, 35, Wahid, 25, Md Ekram Hossain, 46, and Md Abdul Shukur, 32.
RAB said the four were detained with the stolen excavator in connection with an organised theft case filed with Chandgaon PS in Chattogram. 

Preliminary investigation found their alleged involvement in an organised theft ring, while the stolen excavator was recovered from their possession, the RAB said.
