Actress Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly suffered a serious hip injury while filming an intense dance sequence and has been advised to take complete rest for six weeks.

The actress, who was recently seen in Cocktail 2, reportedly sustained a complete tendon detachment in her hip while shooting for her upcoming films Ranabaali and Mysaa.

According to media reports, doctors were surprised by the severity of the injury, saying such tendon damage is more commonly seen among athletes undergoing rigorous physical training.

Rashmika will undergo a structured rehabilitation programme after the six-week rest period to help restore strength. The injury is expected to affect the schedules of her ongoing film shoots and brand commitments.

She is currently working on four major films and has endorsement commitments with nearly 30 national and international brands.

Rashmika was recently praised by choreographer Brinda for her dedication while working on a song for Mysaa. Brinda highlighted the actress’s extensive preparation, discipline and commitment despite working through pain.

Mysaa has generated significant interest since its announcement. The filmmakers recently revealed that the unit had completed shooting a crucial underwater sequence featuring Rashmika.
