The three-day Hajj and Umrah Fair, organised by the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB), concluded on Saturday at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Dhaka, with speakers emphasising improved services, transparency and stronger coordination to ensure a smooth pilgrimage experience.

Addressing the closing ceremony as the chief guest, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroz Khanam said quality services and greater transparency in Hajj and Umrah management were essential.

She stressed that coordinated efforts among government agencies, airlines and licensed Hajj operators would help provide pilgrims with safe, efficient and hassle-free travel.

The ceremony was presided over by HAAB President Syed Golam Sarwar and moderated by Secretary General Farid Ahmed Majumder.

The fair brought together Hajj agencies, airlines, travel service providers and other stakeholders, offering information on Hajj and Umrah packages, travel arrangements, accommodation, visa processing and related services.
