Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has expressed regret over inaccuracies and omissions in a documentary on the July Mass Uprising that was screened during the ministry's programme titled 'Reception and Discussion Meeting for the Families of July Martyrs and July Fighters.'
In a press release issued on Wednesday, the ministry acknowledged that several significant events and contributions related to the July Mass Uprising were not properly reflected in the documentary, leading to controversy.
The ministry said the Minister and State Minister for Liberation War Affairs sincerely regretted the "unfortunate situation" created by the shortcomings in the documentary.
It also assured that the errors would be corrected promptly and that the documentary would be revised based on feedback from relevant stakeholders before being made available to the public again.
