2 promoted to Secy, 3 transferred

The government on Thursday reshuffled the offices of five secretaries by promoting two additional secretaries to the upped rank and transferring three others.

The Public Administration Ministry has issued separate notifications in this regards.

Among them, Energy and Mineral Resources Division’s Secretary Mohammad Saiful Islam has been transferred to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief while secretary (attached to Public Administration Ministry) Md. Obaidur Rahman has been assigned to the Housing and Public Works Ministry and Primary and Mass Education Ministry Secretary Md. Sakhawat Hossain has been withdrawn from his responsibility and attached to the PA Ministry for further posting.

Besides, after promotion, Energy and Mineral Resources Division Additional Secretary Md. Ziaul Haque has been assigned as Secretary to the same ministry while Home Ministry Additional Secretary Ms. Jesmin Nahar has been assigned as Secretary to the Primary and Mass Education Ministry.
