Police issue nationwide high alert over possible bomb attack threat

Bangladesh Police Headquarters has placed all districts and police ranges across the country on the highest level of alert following intelligence indicating a possible bomb attack. The high alert was issued on Friday night, instructing officers on duty nationwide to remain vigilant and take immediate action in response to any suspicious activity.

Acting on intelligence reports suggesting a potential bomb attack, Bangladesh Police Headquarters has issued a nationwide high alert, directing all police units to maintain maximum vigilance.

According to sources at the Police Headquarters, officers assigned to night patrols, mobile duty, and security checkpoints across the country have been instructed to carry out their responsibilities with heightened caution. They have also been ordered to immediately report any suspicious activity or untoward incident to their superior officers.

The alert has already been communicated to police units nationwide through wireless messages and special directives sent to the heads of various police units.
