6 Awami League activists held while holding secret meeting in Gulshan

The arrested individuals have been identified as Mehedi Masud Chowdhury, 55; S M Rezwan Habib Alif, 33; Nannu Mia, 38; Aminur Rahman, 42; Sojol Ahmed, 29; and Ibrahim Hossain, 33.

Gulshan police arrested them on the fifth floor from a restaurant of Police Plaza at around 9:30PM on Friday (August 7), Gulshan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Daud Hossain confirmed.

On secret information that several Awami League leaders and activists were holding a clandestine meeting at a restaurant on the fifth floor of Police Plaza, police conducted a raid there.
