Shops, markets to shut by 8pm

Shopping malls, markets and shops have been ordered to close by 8pm, two months after the government extended their hours to 9pm.
The new schedule takes effect Wednesday, according to a letter from the Power Division.
Under the order, the establishments may remain open from 11am to 8pm. All illuminated billboards must be switched off by 7pm, while decorative lighting must also remain off.
Fairs, trade fairs and cultural events currently running or scheduled across the country must also end by 8pm.
Restaurants, hospitals and pharmacies will be exempt from the new restrictions.�"bdnews24
