Delhi court, airport get bomb threat ahead of Independence Day

Delhi High Court, Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport and several other locations in India's capital have received “a bomb threat”, a day ahead of the country's 80th Independence Day celebrations.
The threatening email, titled "Blast Delhi High Court @2:11 PM", was sent on Friday in the name of Khalistan and outlined plans to target multiple sites across the city, NDTV reports.
The email claims Delhi will be turned into Khalistan, the Indian news outlet said.
According to the email, a bomb is set to go off at Delhi High Court at 2:11pm on Saturday, followed an hour later by blasts at district courts.
The blasts, the email claims, are in response to cases being heard in Delhi's courts.
"Delhi courts only hear cases against Sikhs," the email read, as per NDTV.
The email reportedly says members of Khalistan, a separatist movement seeking an independent Sikh state by that name, have reached Delhi.
Six other locations have also received threats: Jamnagar House, the Jhandewalan building, the Saket office, the District Magistrate's Office, IGI Airport's Terminal 3, and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate's (SDM) office in Delhi Cantonment.
Threats have also been issued against the Delhi Metro and trains bound for Ambala, the outlet said.
Fire tenders have been dispatched to all the locations named. Nothing suspicious has been found so far, it added.
