Boxing coaches' course begins tomorrow

Aiming to develop skilled and modern technology-based boxing coaches at the district level, the Bangladesh Boxing Federation (BBF) is set to launch a 64-district boxing coaches' course which begins tomorrow (Sunday) at all districts across the country.

A total of 64 nominated boxing coaches from 64 districts will participate in the ten-day training course, organized by BBF.

Mohammad Zahid Parvez Chowdhury, Director of Sports of the National Sports Council (NSC), is expected to inaugurate the course as the chief guest.

The event will be chaired by Mohammad Fayazur Rahman Bhuiyan, president of the Bangladesh Boxing Federation. General Secretary M.A. Quddus Khan will also be present.

According to the BBF, the initiative has been taken to improve the standard of boxing at the district level and familiarize coaches with modern training methods.

During the 10-day course, the participating coaches will receive training on modern and technology-based coaching techniques, which they will be able to apply in training boxers in their respective districts.
