KULAURA, MOULVIBAZAR, Aug 15: The Kulaura Upazila Administration held a meeting in the Upazila Parishad meeting room on Thursday with CNG auto-rickshaw and bus owners and workers to resolve traffic congestion and restore order on the roads in Kulaura town.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Pranoy Biswas, Officer-in-Charge of Kulaura Police Station Sheikh Jahirul Islam Munna, Upazila BNP General Secretary Badruzzaman Sajal, former convener Redwan Khan, Organising Secretary Sufian Ahmed, UP Chairman Azizur Rahman Monir and CNG auto-rickshaw and bus owners and workers were present in the meeting, chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sanjida Akhter.
The meeting emphasised on keeping CNG auto-rickshaws at specific places to reduce traffic congestion in the town. For this purpose, it was decided to keep two CNG auto-rickshaws at each of the seven temporary stands in the town.
