Free medical camp held in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, Aug 15: Bangladesh Red Crescent Society district unit launched a free medical camp at Satkachima Bazar under Nazirpur Upazila of the district on Thursday morning.

District Chairman of the unit Principal Alamgir Hossain inaugurated the programme while District Secretary SM Saidul Islam Kismat attended as the special guest. Unit Officer Md Abdul Hannan chaired the inaugural session.
  
Organisers said, “Realising the sufferings of the rural people, we have organised the medical camp where old age group of people, women and children will get health assistance and medicines at their doorsteps. At the same time, dengue awareness, health, hygiene and nutrition, counselling on drug abuse will be provided through the camp.”
