Leaders and activists of Jatiotabadi Chattradaol (JCD) of Islamic university (IU) in Kushtia held a protest procession against Awami backed teachers and students' activities on Monday through a protest procession.
During the protest they declared that they would not remain silent against their vicious activities and urged the authorities to take legal action against them.
They began the procession around 01:30 pm on Monday from the Faculty Building and passed through various roads on the campus. It ended with a short assembly at administration building square.
The procession was led by IU Chhatra Dal Convenor Masud Rumi Mithun, member secretary Rafiz Ahmed, Senior Joint Convener Anwar Parvez. Former general secretary of the unit Rashedul Islam. Committee Joint Conveners Nur Uddin, Abdullah Al Mamun, Md Sabbir Hossain, Abu Sayeed Rony, Rakib Hasan Swakkhar, Tapas Adhikari, Tanvir Siddiqui, Al Amin, Rifat Hossain, Ariful Islam Jony, Asad Toufik, Noyon Hossain, Syed Mohammad Ali, Sanvir Anik, and more than 200 leaders and activists also joined in the procession.
Speaking at the assembly, IU JCD Convener Masud Rumi Mithun remarks, “The activities of the banned Chhatra League and the Awami League are being seen all over the country planning to make the country unstable. In this situation, we will not remain silent against those activities of them. Our movement against the fascists is ongoing and will continue.”
