NAOGAON, Aug 17: Police in Naogaon recovered 80 lost mobile phones in July and returned these to their owners, officials said.
The phones were recovered through an initiative of the district police’s ICT, Crime and Detective branches.
A programme was held in the conference room of the district police superintendent’s office on Sunday afternoon, where Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammad Tarikul Islam handed over the recovered phones to their owners.
Many of the recipients expressed satisfaction and gratitude after getting their phones back.
SP Mohammad Tarikul Islam said mobile phones had become an important part of people’s daily lives.
