Govt promotes 277 officials to deputy secretary rank

The government has promoted 277 officers from senior assistant secretary to deputy secretary in the public administration.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued an official notification regarding the promotions on Monday (August 17, 2026).

The promoted officers include 15 senior assistant secretary-rank officials currently serving in various Bangladesh embassies and foreign missions abroad.
