3 secretaries reshuffled in administrative realignment

The government has reshuffled three secretary-level posts in the public administration.

Rafiqul I Mohammad, who was transferred to the Public Division of the President's Office from the Agriculture Ministry just 11 days ago, has been transferred again. The contractual official has now been posted as Secretary to the Rural Development and Co-operatives Division.

Besides, Rural Development and Co-operatives Division Secretary Mohat Shaukat Rashid Chowdhury has been made Chairman (Secretary) of the Land Reform Board.

Meanwhile, Land Reform Board Chairman A J M Salahuddin Nagari has been appointed Secretary to the Public Division of the President's Office.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications in this regard on Friday, a weekly holiday.

Earlier on August 10, the government made changes to the secretary posts of the Agriculture Ministry and the Public Division of the President's Office.

At that time, Rafiqul I Mohammad, who was serving as Agriculture Secretary on a contractual basis, was transferred to the Public Division of the President's Office as Secretary on a contractual basis.

In the same reshuffle, Additional Secretary of the Agriculture Ministry Md Selim Khan was promoted to Secretary and appointed to the same ministry.

In a separate notification on that day, Khan Md Nurul Amin, Secretary to the Public Division of the President's Office, was attached to the Ministry of Public Administration.
