College change requires cancellation of first-phase admission

Students selected and confirmed for admission to Class XI in the 2026-27 academic year must cancel their first-phase application or admission before applying in the second phase if they want to change colleges.
The process must be completed at the college section of the respective education board by 4 PM on October 1. Students must bring their original registration cards and admit cards as proof.
The deadline for second-phase online applications has also been extended to 8 PM on October 1. The revised schedule was announced in an urgent notice signed by Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof Dr Syed Akhtaruzzaman on Monday.
According to the notice, students who were finally selected and confirmed in the first phase but could not enrol, do not want to enrol, or want to apply to another college after admission may apply in the second phase. However, they must first cancel their first-phase application or admission.
Students who did not apply earlier, were not selected for any college, failed to confirm their selection, or could not complete admission within the stipulated time can also apply in the second phase. Students who could not enrol because of an incorrect quota selection are also eligible.
Under the revised schedule, the second-phase results will be published at 8 PM on October 5, while confirmation will continue until 8 PM on October 8. Failure to confirm within the deadline will result in cancellation of the selection and application.
The migration results for students who confirm their selection in the second phase will be published at 8 PM on October 9. Final admission will be conducted from October 11 to 13.
Students who applied in the first phase but were not selected for any college will not have to pay the Tk 220 application fee again. They will have to log in to the admission website and select or edit their college preferences.
Applicants must verify their eligibility for any quota before applying. After the results are published, selected students must pay the confirmation fee within the stipulated time and complete admission to their selected colleges.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee said the schedule was revised to address complications arising from a large number of students failing to confirm their selections and complete admission within the stipulated time.
Applicants in the second phase must select at least five and a maximum of 10 colleges according to their preferences, subject to available seats.
