Follow Prophet's teachings for peaceful nation: PM

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called for establishing justice and human values in personal, family, social, and state life by following the teachings of peace, justice, empathy, forgiveness, and humanity of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
In a message issued on Tuesday on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the Prime Minister said it is possible to build a peaceful, just, and welfare-oriented society by following the life and ideals of the Prophet (PBUH).
The Prime Minister stated that the arrival of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was a unique and glorious event in the history of human civilization. His advent opened a new horizon of truth and light for humanity. Along with calling people towards Tawheed, he taught truth, justice, equality, brotherhood, humanity, and peace. His holy life and deeds remain an eternal guide and ideal for all humanity.
Extending heartiest greetings to devout Muslims in Bangladesh and the global Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for sending the final Prophet as a mercy to the universe.
Quoting Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 21 of the Holy Quran, he noted that the Prophet's (PBUH) life was a practical and living reflection of Quranic teachings. He established unique examples of truthfulness, trustworthiness, justice, forgiveness, tolerance, kindness, and benevolence.
Tarique Rahman said the Prophet (PBUH) emphasized establishing human dignity and rights beyond differences of race, color, tribe, language, and social status. He taught responsibility and compassion toward orphans, the poor, helpless, and deprived. He laid special emphasis on protecting the rights of family, neighbors, women, children, and marginalized people in society. His teachings strengthen brotherhood, harmony, and mutual responsibility rather than division.
The Prime Minister noted that the world is currently going through various crises and challenges, where war, conflict, violence, discrimination, intolerance, and moral decay disrupt peace and normal life. At such a time, the Prophet's (PBUH) teachings of peace, justice, empathy, forgiveness, and humanity are highly relevant.
The Prime Minister also stressed guiding the young generation away from drugs, terrorism, extremism, and crime, nurturing them instead with knowledge, creativity, morality, humanity, and patriotism. He noted that the Prophet's (PBUH) life can inspire youth to stand firm on the path of truth and justice and play a responsible role toward society and the nation.
He added that the Prophet's (PBUH) teachings hold deep significance not only for the religious and spiritual life of Muslims but also for developing human and moral values.
At the end of the message, the Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah for the ability to follow the ideals and Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH), while seeking peace, justice, equality, prosperity, and humanity for Bangladesh and the entire world.
