LPP, the 8th largest buyer of Bangladeshi garments, has issued a correction to the news "LPP reaffirms Bangladesh commitment despite Tk 365 cr EES loss," published on Page-6 of the Daily Observer on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The following is the correction:
"Poland-based global fashion retailer LPP has reaffirmed its commitment to Bangladesh’s garment industry, pledging to maintain sourcing operations despite suffering a $365 crore loss linked to its previous business relationship with Far East Services ( FES) which is a private company.
