Division and revenge cannot make a nation strong: Prez

President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that division, malice, and vengeance can never make a nation strong.
He urged everyone to stay united to protect democracy, justice, good governance, and fundamental human rights.
The President made the remarks on Tuesday (August 25) while addressing as the chief guest at the inauguration of the Seerat-un-Nabi (SM) program at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
The event was organized on the occasion of the Holy Eid-e-Miladun-Nabi.
President Mirza Fakhrul called upon religious leaders to raise their voices against social evils.
He urged them to play an active role in eliminating corruption, drugs, terrorism, rumors, communal hatred, and violence against women and children from society.
