PM mourns death of BNP executive committee member Zahurul Islam

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has expressed deep shock at the death of BNP executive committee member Zahurul Islam Babu.

In a condolence message on Wednesday, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family. 

Zahurul Islam Babu passed away at Bangladesh Medical University (PG Hospital) at 8:30 pm on August 25 while undergoing treatment at the hospital’s ICU unit. 

He was suffering from liver-related complications.

 Babu was a brilliant cricketer of Pabna PYC Club and a member of the Ex-Cricketers Association, Pabna.
