Light rain possible in Dhaka tonight

Light rain or thundershowers may occur in Dhaka and adjoining areas tonight, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The weather office said the wind may blow from the south or southeast at 10�"15 kmph, while the night temperature is likely to remain nearly unchanged.

The forecast was issued at 7pm on Wednesday by the Storm Warning Centre for Dhaka and surrounding areas.

Dhaka’s sky may remain partly cloudy, with a chance of light rain or thundershowers.

At 6pm, the capital recorded a temperature of 31.2°C with 71% relative humidity. The day’s maximum temperature was 34.1°C, while the minimum was 25.9°C.

No rainfall was recorded in Dhaka during the previous six hours.

Sunrise is expected at 5:38am and sunset at 6:22pm on Thursday.
