Body of missing tourist found in Cox’s Bazar sea

The body of a 27-year-old tourist missing in the sea waters at Cox’s Bazar has been found.

The body has been found from East Para in Sonadia island of Maheshkhali and was discovered early Friday (August 28), said Mahbub Alam, supervisor of beach workers from the Cox’s Bazar district administration and beach management committee.

Ibrahim Khan has been missing since he entered the sea water for bathing around 2pm Wednesday (August 26) in the area lying between Sugandha and Laboni of Cox’s Bazar beach. Also drowning in the same accident was another tourist, Yasin Khan, 25. They were cousins.

They hailed from Kuril Chowrasta in Dhaka and had visited Cox’s Bazar in a group of 110 members on August 22 and 24.

According to Mahbub Alam, Ibrahim’s body has been found from East Para of Sonadia island.
