2 more die of dengue

996 hospitalised

Two more people died of dengue in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease to 90 this year.

During the same period, 996 new patients were hospitalised with dengue.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the information in a daily dengue report on Saturday. It said that two deaths occurred between 8am Friday and 8am Saturday.

Among the deceased one from Barishal while other one was from Khulna division, it said.
