Foundation stone of new G’ganj Bar Association building laid

GOPALGANJ, Aug 31: The foundation stone for a new building of the Gopalganj District Bar Association was inaugurated on Saturday.

Gopalganj-1 Constituency MP Md Selimuzzaman Mollah unveiled the foundation stone for the five-storey building, which will be constructed next to the existing district bar association building. Gopalganj-2 Constituency MP Dr KM Babar and Gopalganj-3 Constituency MP SM Jilane were also present.

A prayer was held after the foundation stone was unveiled. The guests later spoke at a discussion organised by the District Bar Association.

District Bar Association President Kazi Abul Khayer chaired the event. Among others, Gopalganj Zilla Parishad Administrator Sharif Rafiquzzaman, Senior District and Sessions Judge Md Shamsul Haque and District Bar Association General Secretary MA Alam Selim spoke at the event.
