Agriculture minister's mother dies

Amena Begum, mother of Agriculture Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid, died at her residence in Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon at the age of 103.

She had been suffering from various complications related to old age for a long time.

State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salahuddin Tuku expressed deep shock and sorrow at her death.

In a condolence message, he said the death of a mother was a profound loss for a family and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.

He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his condolences to the family.

Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Md Delwar Hossain and other officials and employees of the ministry also expressed condolences over her death and prayed for her departed soul.
