2 Army members killed in Hathazari field firing accident

Two members of Bangladesh Army were killed and an officer was critically injured in an accident during a field fire exercise at the Hathazari Field Firing Range in Chattogram on Wednesday.

The accident occurred while a tank was firing rounds during the exercise, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR). 

The injured officer is being airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka for advanced medical treatment.

The authorities have launched necessary procedures to determine the cause of the accident, the statement said.
